Tandem Master Training Course

Designed Purpose:

Training of specialists who has skills relevant to minimum requirements to perform jumps with tandem passenger.

Training Program:

  • Theoretical ground classes
  • Practice all parts of the jump
  • Training jumps upon TM course

Students graduate with

10 jumps:

  • 1 solo jump without a passenger
  • 1 jump as a passenger
  • 6-7 jumps with passengers (skydivers who have at least 100 jumps experience)
  • 1-2 with tandem examiner as a passenger

Course Duration: 5 days

Class Size: 1-4 students

Instructor Ratio Per Student: 1:4

TM Training Course Pre-Requisites:

  • Background experience 500 freefall jumps and advanced freefall skills
  • At least 3 years of skydiving experience
  • Advanced skills of square canopy piloting and landing (ability to hit the circle 10*10 meters)
  • Minimum age of candidate – 18 years
  • At least 1 live cutaway
  • Candidate must pass examination in health with the certificate of 1, 2 or 3 ICAO categories or foreign equivalent

Gained Skills:

The graduate will be able to select and follow the landing pattern, prepare and perform jump with a passenger who has no parachute jumping experience, in normal weather conditions, landing to prepared landing zone at least 100*100 meters in size, using SWS Fire Tandem parachute system.
